Validating a study design
In the top left corner of the study design page, there is a Validate icon. This is used to have the system go through the settings to find inconsistencies and errors in the study design, such as duplicate ID:s, edit checks that don’t compute due to incorrect ID:s or syntax, etc.
If any errors are found during the validation, a message will be displayed under the Validate icon, with the numbers of errors found, and each of the areas affected by the respective error(s) are highlighted with the same message in red text as well as with a red Edit/View icon:
If no errors are found during the validation, the Validated mark is displayed:
