Q: Is Viedoc able to upload Certara/Pinnacle21 ODM files?
A: Yes, as long as you have a design file in ODM format you can import it to Viedoc Designer. However, without the Viedoc extensions, sdm extensions, and possibly other attributes we use in Viedoc, the result of how complete the design will be in Viedoc can vary.

Design Version Compare
Q: When will this design Version compare be available?
A: The design version compare tool was introduced in Viedoc 4.84, released at the end of March.
Q: Will the compare tool only show existing items that was updated or will it also highlight if a new item was added in the new design version?
A: The compare tool output will display any changes between the 2 ODMs and will list the change types “Add”, “Removal” and “Replace”.
Q: Can revisions also be compared?
A: Yes, any two design versions within a study, including revisions, can be compared using the new tools
Q: Will you not be able to compare with older designs?
A: Yes, you can compare older designs as well. Older designs may have traces in the ODM of redundant attributes or information that has been removed when saving subsequent design versions in that study. While such a change did not lead to any actual change on the CRF, it will be detected as a difference between the two design versions. These cases are well documented in Viedoc Learning
Q: Is it possible to see who has made the change in a scenario there are multiple designers in the study?
A: No, the design version compare tool is intended to display all differences between two design versions, but will not detail who made the change.
Q: You demonstrated change type: replace cases in live demo. what other types are there? new, deleted? Can you also show how export of compare looks?
A: The compare tool output will display the change types “Add”, “Removal” and “Replace”. The export button is using the print functionality in the browser being used.
